Peter felt the hair on his neck rise as he turned to face his peers. Peter had managed to do that all by himself. Banner would never go out of his way to embarrass him. He’d been so overwhelmed with making sure Banner didn’t blow himself up that he’d forgotten they had an audience. Banner like that was second nature to him. It was that moment that Peter remembered who else was in the lab with them. “To bed,” Peter called after him and Bruce just waved him off as he left the lab. “Ok, I’m going upstairs.” Bruce got up and began walking towards the employee exit. He stared at him with defiance but after that moment of hesitation, Banner sighed. He almost never used the doctor's first name so it proved how serious he was. Banner sounded more like a child who had gotten their toy taken away. “Peter.” He was trying to scold him but with how exhausted he was, Dr. “Oh no you don’t.” He held the drink away from Dr. Banner said, reaching for a Monster Doughnut flavored energy drink which Peter snatched before he could. I’m fine though, I just have a little more to do anyways,” Dr. “When was the last time you got any sleep Dr. “You almost blew us all up,” Peter stated as he put his vial safely onto a different table away from Dr. Banner carefully set his vial down on the far end away from Peter. He looked to the one in Peter's hand and the recognition rippled across his face. Peter nodded towards the vial still in his hands and Bruce regarded it closely.

“What?” Banner cocked his head at Peter, seemingly oblivious to the explosion he almost caused. Banner, what were you thinking?” Peter asked, genuinely concerned and pulled the vial even farther away from the doctor. It was clear that it had been far too long since he had slept. His hair was messy like he’d been running his hand through it and the purple in the bags under his eyes were bringing out the irritation around his eyes. His smile was soft and his eyes caring but it didn’t help what he looked like. Banner turned to face Peter, he saw the state Bruce was in. Peter rushed forward before he could think better of it and took one of the vials from Dr. They were generally safe to use but when mixed together they could cause massive explosions and you were definitely not supposed to hold them both at the same time. He recognized the substances immediately. Banner was sitting at a desk in the far corner holding one vial in each hand. He scanned the room searching for anyone he recognized when he saw him and what he was holding. They were likely trying to divert the tour to the lab next door so they wouldn’t be disturbed. One of the head interns was speaking to Harley, probably debriefing him on what they were all working on. They all just looked exceedingly tired today. There were a couple interns working away at various desks. Peter saw exactly what he had expected to see. Harley opened the door and allowed them inside. Peter doubted that they would run into anyone who’d want to embarrass him in the labs. There were occasionally higher ups who came down to check on things or work on specific projects with the technicians but that was rare. Those were mostly staffed by college interns who were doing a mix of their own projects and keeping track of the tour members. Their next stop was the labs on the 12th floor.
